We can customize our chopping boards for you, for any special occasion.

Weddings, anniversaries, special quotes, birthdays and all special occasions.

Our chopping boards are made using real wood timbers that vary in thickness but can be made to suit if you require a particular thickness so don't hesitate to reach out with any special requests. Choose from our range of provided shapes and sizes or have the option to request your own custom design. Our boards are sanded and polished numerous times using different grades of sand paper by hand until our boards are perfectly smooth and wonderfully delightful to the touch before being finished with a food grade oil to seal.

Please allow between 1-6 weeks for your board to be created. If required by a certain time please contact us prior to purchase.

We recommend oiling your chopping boards occasionally or every 12 months.

The same way our skin needs moisturiser to be beautiful and soft, your chopping board needs oil to be strong and vibrant. The best way to know when your board is craving oil is to look at the colour of the wood, the duller the brown, the drier the wood.

DO use coconut, mineral, linseed, beeswax or tung oil. My favourite is a mixture of coconut oil and beeswax, the coconut oil is one of the least rancid oils and the beeswax makes it water-resistant which means you won’t have to oil it as frequently. Simply rub the oil into the wood with a rag or cloth until the whole board is covered and not absorbing any more oil. Hack: You can buy coconut oil cooking spray at the supermarket and all you have to do is spray over the board. Too easy.

DO NOT use vegetable or olive oil. These will become rancid and begin to smell. Yuk.

PRO TIP : Spring clean your chopping board with salt and lemon (or lime). For the full service, give your board a spa treatment every once in a while. Generously sprinkle salt over your chopping board and then cut a lemon in half. Now begin to rub the lemon all over the salty board. The salt acts as a scrub to remove stubborn stains, and the lemon is a natural disinfectant and deodoriser. Be sure to clean it well in some hot water afterwards.

Do not use in a dishwasher or microwave.

Natural timbers on occasion will contain naturally occurring holes and loose wood knots, we often are not aware of these until we have milled down your board. These beautiful unique marks add to the personality of your board. We also use a food safe clear resin to fill these blemishes to ensure you are given a smooth flat surface for you to prepare and enjoy your foods upon.
